Omni-Grid (OG) Series

 

Introduced in 1965 and designed to satisfy the need for a lightweight, easy to clean spiral and turn curve conveyor belt, Omni-Grid stainless steel belts consist of an assembly of Wear Resistant Links and 6 gauge steel rods. Omni-Grid conveyor belts are available in 3/4" and 1" pitch and in widths of up to 40".

Small Radius OG

Belt consists of an assembly of rods and links. A center row of heavy duty non-collapsing links forms two product lanes; for 3/4" pitch - standard links on inside and outside belt edges; For 1" pitch - heavy duty collapsing links on inside edge with 1.75 in [44.5mm] pitch collapsing links on the outside edge. All belts are double welded. Tight, 1.0:1 turn ratio for small footprint operations and can negotiate a much tighter turn than regular Omni-Grid belts. In general, the inside radius can be equal to the belt width, making Small Radius Omni-Grid ideal for use in applications where floor space is limited. Small Radius Omni-Grid can turn either left or right, pivoting about a center link.

Super Small Radius OG

The Tightest Turn Radius (0.8:1) Conveyor Belt for Spiral and Turn Curve Applications. With an inside turn radius equal to 0.8 times the belt width, Super Small Radius Omni-Grid has the industry's smallest turn radius for spiral and turn curve applications. Super Small Radius Omni-Grid maximizes utilization of available floor space and can turn either left or right, pivoting about a center link.

Space Saver OG

Space Saver Omni-Grid is constructed with a dual row of heavy duty, non-collapsing links on the inside edge, with a long pitch-collapsing link on the outside edge. Available in 3/4 " pitch, 1.7:1 turn ratio or 1" pitch, 2.2:1 turn ratio variants, Space Saver Omni-Grid is recognized as the food processing conveyor belting of choice for transporting delicate products such as fish cannot tolerate the collapsing inside edge of standard turn curve belts for fear of product damage. For these applications, Space Saver Omni-Grid is the perfect solution since it's inside edge doesn't collapse when negotiating a turn. Instead, the pitch of the inside edge remains constant while the outside edge expands. The advantage of this process is two-fold: the product does not get wrinkled or damaged and there is no need to provide spacing between product rows to compensate for belt collapse.

Reduced Radius OG

Reduced Radius Omni-Grid conveyor belts are of similar construction as our standard Omni-Grid belts, but feature an inside turning radius that is 1.6 times the belt width. This tight turning radius enables a 30" wide belt to turn a radius of 48" without needing center links. The wider processing surface allows for increased product loading capacity.
